Jonas Brothers and Tokio Hotel's Picture Perfect
Both bands struck a pose for the camera, standing side by side and having each other's back, when they met prior to the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards on September 7.
Young and famous are the two things that U.S. band Jonas Brothers and German band Tokio Hotel have in common, aside from the various accolades they've won which earn them praise from their dedicated fans. Attempting for career expansion in a bid to win people's hearts to be the first best, both bands are about to cross each other's country.
Nevertheless, the competition is fair as both bands had been spotted getting friendly during this year MTV Video Music Awards, held in L.A. on September 7, where they were nominated for the same category, Best Pop Video. Putting aside their many yet unique differences, all bands' members struck poses for the camera, standing side by side and having each other's back when they met shortly before the awards show in New York.
Considered as America's nowadays greatest pop band, Jonas Brothers were first established in 2005. All the boys, Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas are biological siblings. They were first catapulted to international stardom with their hit single "Year 3000" (2006). Having a successful music career, they currently are invading the small screen, starring in Disney's highly anticipated "J.O.N.A.S!" Taking into account their many accomplishments, earning prestigious awards like the Teen Choice Award and Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award thus isn't something new for the threesome. Attempting for career expansion, the boys have been taking their promotional tour, aimed to boost the sales of their latest album "A Little Bit Longer," to Madrid, Spain earlier this month.
Of rock genre, Tokio Hotel is a huge band in German where they were first formed back in 2001. Consisting of twin brothers Bill Kaulitz and Tom Kaulitz, the band's formation also is built by Georg Listing and Gustav Schafer. The guys have a very strong fan base in the country and already sold millions of album. Talking about accolades, they have scored a number of award nominations as well as winnings. Their last award winning of the 2008 MTV Video Music Award for the category of Best New Artist for their single "Ready, Set, Go!" which is the English version of "Ubers Ende der Welt", the second single off their second album titled "Zimmer 483", proves they also have the hearts of people in the U.S.
Giving out an award
If I don't remember wrong we have mentioned that Tokio Hotel will be one of the groups that will be giving out an award. Here is a short article about that.
Katy Perry may be hosting but Grace Jones, Sugababes, Solange and Tokio Hotel will also hit our stage…
Some for the many A-list stars presenting winning acts with their statues at the MTV EMAs have been announced.
Actress, singer and renowned nutter Grace Jones and Beyonce’s lil’ sister Solange will both hit the Liverpool stage.
Travis from Gym Class Heroes- boyfriend of host Katy Perry- will also give one lucky winner their award.
Plus Tokio Hotel- who are nominated for Best Act Ever- and gorgeous girl group Sugababes will also present on November 6.
Performing at the ceremony are Beyonce, Duffy, The Killers and Kid Rock.
Coldplay, Britney Spears and Duffy lead the nominations while Rick Astley is also nominated.

Mag: How do you feel knowing that your music is already heard in Latin America?
Tom: Once we dreamed with international fame, but we didn't think this was going to happen. In our country we were known, but crossing frontiersrs is not surprising, it is weird. For example we have never been to Mexico or Latin America however or songs are listened there. This gives us satisfaction.
Mag: All the fans want to know if you have a girlfriend? How is your ideal girl?
Tom: No I don't have a girlfriend nor i have an ideal woman. I couldn't choose how i prefer girls blond, brunette or redhaired, the true is there are alot of pretty girls everywhere.
Bill: I don't go out with anyone either, but i believe in love at first sight. When you fall in love, you don't notice what characteristics she should have, but on what you feel.
Mag: in this profession it is easier to conquer(get girls)?
Tom: Of course music helps. In school, musicians always have a lot of success. That is why since I was a little boy I wanted to play the guitar! (laughter), No seriously I never had problems to get girls nor I have needed the helping hand of fame to get closer to someone.
Bill: For me music has helped me, I had my first girlfriend when I started singing. But in this career there is a little bit of time for a formal relationship
Mag: Lets see boys, Your favorite singer or actor is?
Tom: I die for Jessica Alba she is my favorite
Bill: Nena marked my life, the German singer; Through TV I watched one of her concerts and it encouraged me. I was very little, just after that I began to write my first songs, I had the idea that someday I could be in a stage.
Mag: Be sincere, Have you ever tried to get the same girl?
Tom: I had a girlfriend and when we broke up I tried to convince her to give my brother his first kiss. I wanted him to have that experience because up to that moment Bill had not had a girlfriend. It was a love gesture towards him.
Mag: what do you want to transmit with your look?
Tom: We never tried to create a false image. It is part of our personality, this is who we are and this is how we feel. If you see our pictures before forming this group, the true is there is not big change
Mag: If you had a girlfriend would get a tattoo with her name?
Tom: Yes if it is about a "walking" (I dun get the joke), No I don't think it is worth it (laugh); but if it was something serious .....Neither! No, I am not a big fan of tattoos.
Bill: I love tattoos! and if I was in love for real, then why not? I think I would do it.
Mag: What do you feel when your fans go crazy for you ?
Bill: We are proud of having followers that support us and are always up to date with our concerts, they sing our songs, fill us with energy and motivate us to keep going.
Mag: Tell the truth, are you loyal?
Tom: When you are in love it is fundamental to be loyal and receive the same treatment back.
Bill: For me loyalty is very important. Plus, if I am in love I don't feel like accepting other "offers". With me you don't have to worry about not being loyal, I believe a lot in loyalty and I practice it, but in the last couple of years I haven't had a girlfriend.

, on 17-10-2008 01:06 awhh, I like the little review about Tokio Hotel and the jonas brothers. It said a lot of good and truthful things about both bands, but to me I think they said better comments about TH! Because well (no offense) but they are better!
+Doesn't Bill just look so perfect in each picture. And he's so adorable, all struck by love!

I believe in luv at first site in some situations... but i don't think I'd ever get a tatoo of the persons name... mayb something that symbolizes them instead. luv luv luv th and hope they r a huge success in latin america and mexico!
