Greek forum Christmas Fundraiser/ Toys For Tots! Our affiliates, the First Greek Tokio Hotel forum, are doing some amazing fund raising for COFC over the Christmas holidays.
My good friend L, who runs the forum, sent us this message about what they're doing at their forum:
This whole idea started around October, when I was desperately trying to find a way to make our forum more active and do some kind of charity as a TH forum. So we immediately thought of the COFC site and your great cause. At first I talked about it with the fellow Mods and Admins of our forum and they thought it was excellent, so a few days later we introduced the idea to the members here: http://tokiohotel.fullsubject.com/forum-f45/topic-t2022.htm
I told them everything about your work and EHFK (the exact same text you have at the COFC website, only translated in Greek) and they loved the idea too! 47 of our members were positive for this whole thing, plus friends and family that want to help. So far, 40 of them have confirmed that they will surely give money in the end, that's definitely a much better number than the one I imagined at first (: You can see this whole thing here: http://tokiohotel.fullsubject.com/forum-f45/topic-t2057.htm
We have already started making little gifts for our members, as a thank you for donating and participating. All this money will be collected sometime around Christmas, since there won't be school and stuff so we can all meet, and then we are going to send the price to COFC via paypal. I can't know the price for sure, but I think it will be a good amount of money, at least concerning the age of the members and the fact that they don't actually work, so that money is from their own 'penny bank'. I hope it will help a little bit in your attempt to raise $5000 ^_^
Thank you to everyone at the Greek Forum so much for your support! We appreciate all of your work in fund raising for EHFK. :) We're excited to see how it all turns out!
Also, for the rest of November and December, we are fund raising for the charity Toys For Tots!

"Toys for Tots" is run by the United States Marine Corps. It's mission? To make sure that disadvantaged children, who might not otherwise have a happy holiday season, receive at least one present this year. "Toys for Tots" attempts to accomplish this goal through donations of gifts for children (unwrapped, unopened) or through monetary donations.
All donations received for Nov/Dec will go to the Toys For Tots charity.
So far we've had $90 in donations, let's work to double this by Christmas! Last year we raised $200, and we can do it again!

Scream! For Charity - Adult Haunted HouseAdult Haunted House!
This is the adult version of the Scream! For Charity Haunted house. We received our largest crowds for this haunted house. At one point we had over 40 people waiting outside to enter.
The video is quite dark, especially the first five minutes or so, so don't worry, the video isn't malfunctioning, it's supposed to be that dark. Sadly, a lot of the detail in the lighter rooms has been lost with uploading the video to the internet. We apologize for the poor quality, but there was not much we could do to preserve the quality of the footage. All of the rooms were pretty dim to create a spooky atmosphere.
This version of the haunted house had 15 actors and took over two months of work to create and set up. The haunted house was Tokio Hotel themed, with Halloween Tokio Hotel music mixes made by our staff, and the use of the Tokio Hotel logo and related items throughout the house.
We not only advertised for Ein Herz fuer Kinder and COFC at this event, but for Tokio Hotel as well. We gave away "Scream America" Tokio Hotel singles to all those who donated and handed out fliers with information about Tokio Hotel and the EHFK charity.
We made $330 dollars in the form of donations to the EHFK charity and received free advertisements on four popular radio stations throughout the Stevens Point area. The University of Wisconsin Stevens Point International Programs sponsored this event and allowed for us to advertise all over campus.
We hope you like the video of our haunted house, it was very fun to create and put on.

Scream! For Charity - Children's versionThis is the children's version of the Scream! For Charity haunted house. The children's version is quite a bit shorter and less complex than the adult haunted house. The adult haunted house consisted of 15 actors while the children's version only consisted of 5.
Video of the adult haunted house will be posted soon, as well as a lot of "behind the scenes" footage, so look for that in the near future.
Also, check out our new total! We are 53.3% on our way to $5,000 with $2,767. Our goal is to make $3,000 by Christmas!

Scream! For Charity - Complete!Well everyone, our Scream! For Charity haunted house was a success!
We put on a Tokio Hotel themed children and adult haunted house on October 31st and November 1st in Stevens Point Wisconsin, and let me just say, the turn out was amazing.
We had around 300 people walk through our haunted house throughout the two days we put it on. We raised around $330 for Ein Herz fuer Kinder in donations. We advertised for the haunted house, Tokio Hotel, and EHFK all over town and on the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point campus, and got loads of a free radio airtime on five major stations in our area.
I think we've accomplished all that we planned. We put on an amazing show, spread the word of Tokio Hotel and EHFK all over our city, and made a good amount of money for EHFK in the process. It was definitely one heck of a weekend. Thanks to all who came, donated, and supported our efforts!
Some of the first pictures are coming in!

Another graveyard photo!
More pictures and videos will be coming soon! We will be posting an entire run through of both versions of the haunted house.
